Margaret Falls
Contributed by Margaret Deahn
Similar to how I approach collecting rocks on Earth, this bright and shiny float rock along the rover’s path captured my eye almost immediately. We’ve encountered quite a few of these small, bright rocks as the rover has climbed the rim and this example is one of the best close-ups we’ve gotten of these unique features. (The team also named this observation “Margaret_Falls” – I might be biased but I think that’s a pretty great name!)
