Surveying Our Historic Sample Depot

This Mastcam-Z Left Filter 0 (RGB) enhanced color mosaic was taken on Sol 650 (December 18, 2022).
This stunning Mastcam-Z mosaic shows a view of the historic first sample depot site on Mars, before sample tubes were dropped. The set of images that constitute the mosaic were taken when Perseverance was situated on the crater floor in Jezero crater. To the left the delta is in view, which Perseverance has continued to explore after sample depot construction.
