Andreas Bechtold
Andreas Bechtold is a student collaborator for Mastcam-Z. He has a BSc and MSc in Earth Sciences from the University of Vienna. At present, he is a PhD student investigating a lunar meteorite and a research assistant at the Austrian Academy of Sciences. He also worked for the Natural History Museum Vienna as a research assistant in a project that focused on the detection of artificially placed shatter cones in images of planetary rover missions using machine learning techniques. His research interests include meteorites, impact craters, and remote sensing in planetary geology.
