Ed Cloutis
Dr. Ed Cloutis is a Professor in the Department of Geography and Director of the Centre for Terrestrial And Planetary Exploration (C-TAPE) at the University of Winnipeg. He has over 25 years experience in spectroscopic exploration of Mars. He is a co-investigator on the Perseverance Mastcam-Z and SuperCam science teams, and the NOMAD and ACS teams of the ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter, and the ISEM team on the ESA Rosalind Franklin rover. He is also a collaborator on the Mars Curiosity rover science team. He has authored or co-authored over 200 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters. Dr. Cloutis and his team have conducted a number of Mars rover-like field campaigns at a number of analogue sites in Canada, the US, and Iceland.
