
Kristiana Lapo
Kristiana joined the Mastcam-Z team in 2020 and contributes to science operations and image analysis as part of the Multispectral Working Group. After completing an MS in Geology from Western Washington University in 2021, Kristiana continued as a research associate at WWU in the Mars Research Group and manager of the Planetary Reflectance Lab, specializing in VNIR spectroscopy, photometry, and Martian analog materials. On Earth, Kristiana has a background in glacial and volcanic geomorphology, surface dating techniques (cosmogenic nuclide dating, lake coring, and carbon dating), as well as fieldwork and remote mapping.
