Ralf Jaumann’s scientific focus is to analyze the geomorphological context of the landing environment and provide geomorphological information for rover science. He has more than 20 years experience in imaging and spectroscopy and space flight applications, calibration and analysis software development, instrument design and development, and data archiving. He is PI/Co-PI of several imaging instruments (HRSC on Mars Express (ESA), ExoMars PanCam (ESA) MascotCam on Hayabusa II (JAXA) and JANUS on JUICE (ESA)) as well as CoI/TM/PS participations on several missions (Mars Express, Mars Pathfinder, Venus Express, Dawn, Rosetta, Cassini).
