Mastcam-Z

Tanguy Bertrand

Tanguy is a Research Collaborator on the Mastcam-Z team and is also part of the SuperCam team. He completed his PhD in Astrophysics in 2017 and is now a planetary scientist, expert in climate modeling, at NASA Ames Research Center in California. His research interests focus on planetary climates and in particular the climates of Mars, Triton, and Pluto. He has been involved in many studies regarding the entry, descent and landing of Martian spacecraft, and in research investigations regarding the dust cycle and the onset and development of dust storms on Mars.
