Zach Bailey

Zachary Bailey is an Instrument Engineer for the Mars 2020 Project at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory.  Zach has been a part of the Mars 2020 Payload team since December 2013, and oversaw the development, delivery, integration, and testing of the Mastcam-Z and SHERLOC instruments on the Perseverance rover.  Previously, he worked in JPL’s Mars Formulation Office developing concepts for future missions.  Zach holds Master and Bachelor degrees in Aerospace Engineering from MIT.
